A Blueprint For Philadelphia
The primary objective of the Blueprint Foundation is to set a new standard by working with private donors, grantors, sponsors and nonprofit partners to improve the lives of Greater Philadelphia area residents, now and for generations to come.
Core values:
Our focus:
We envision an equitable community where opportunities for growth and quality of life are shared by all.
Integrity:
Our work strives for honesty, humility, trustworthiness and transparency in all that we do and expect the same of our non-profit partners.
Impact:
We are committed to being a philanthropic leader in the Metro Philadelphia region and making an impact through expanded access to impactful resources
Community Engagement:
Prioritize opportunities for communities that have been most affected by economic inequity,
Collaboration:
We believe that impact is not made in isolation and that our work is strengthened through shared ideas. We recognize that our resources and impact can be multiplied through partnerships..
No one knows Philadelphia neighborhoods like the residents who call them home. That’s why we proudly support locally led programs, projects, and initiatives that provide creative and effective solutions for the communities they aim to serve.
Funding:
- The Blueprint Foundation will allocate funds in the following manner: Microgrants, Sponsorships and Donations..
- Each applicant will be notified in writing shortly after a decision on its proposal has been made.
- If a grant award is authorized, the grantee is asked to sign a written Grant Agreement that describes the purpose and conditions of the grant.
- Unfortunately, all meritorious requests cannot be funded. Please understand that the Foundation’s decision not to make a grant does not necessarily reflect any disapproval of the merits of the proposal or of the applicant organization.
- All applicants are requested to wait at least ( 9 ) months from the date of any previous application or grant award payment before submitting a new proposal to the Foundation.
Grant Award Follow-up:
We connect with each grantee once a year during the grant period to understand their operating environment and discuss progress on the capacity-building plans outlined in their grant application. We gather this information through written updates and, when possible, in-person meetings, with priority given to new grantees.
Small Grants Add Up:
Small and mid-sized grants of $00,000 or less can be transformative when they carry out residents’ own vision for their community
